Sampaguita Oil: The Promise of Love

Sampaguita is a white-colored and sweet-smelling flower that is native to Southeast Asia. It’s actually a member of the big family of jasmines, and botanical experts refer to it as Jasminum sambac. Sampaguita is also sometimes referred to as Philippine jasmine, Arabian jasmine, belle of India, maid of Orleans, and grand duke of Tuscany.

The national flower of the Philippines! It means “I promise you” and is a pledge of mutual love in the Philippines. It is regarded as a symbol of strength, simplicity, sacredness, humbleness, and purity.

In the world of aromatherapy, sampaguita is very popular because of its fragrance. But other than smelling wonderful, this fragrant flower is also chock-full of compounds possessing all sorts of beneficial properties.
